Skai Moore decommits from Rutgers

Rutgers’ 2013 recruiting class is back down to 21, and the Scarlet Knights lost one of their highest touted recruits.

Linebacker Skai Moore decommitted and has reopened his commitment according to NJ.com.

Moore is rated a four-star recruit by Rivals.com and a three-star by Scout.com.

The Fort Lauderdale, FL is a linebacker that could have helped beef up the Scarlet Knights linebacking corps with the graduation of Big East Defensive Player of the Year Khaseem Greene and Steve Beauharnais.

“He was Rutgers main linebacker target for a while and he’s the type of athlete that they like that can play outside linebacker that can fly around the field and make plays,” ScarletNation.com recruiting analyst Matt Hladik told SNY.tv after Moore verbally committed in December. “He’s got good athleticism and he’s a sure tackler and a good special teams player.”
