By Matt Sugam

Dan Bracaglia/SNY.tvKhaseem Greene will now be joined at the Senior Bowl by a fellow Rutgers linebacker as middle linebacker Steve Beahaurnais has accepted an invitation to play in the Senior Bowl.

Beauharnais – who played in 50 games and made 40 consecutive starts – had 76 tackles and six tackles for loss this season as the quarterback of the defense.

The event is another chance for the Saddlebrook, NJ native to showcase his skills to NFL scouts, general managers and coaches.

The seniors have a week of practice under the tutelage of NFL coaches before playing the game. The game takes place in Mobile Alabama on January 26 at 3:30 p.m. at Ladd-Peebles Stadium and airs on the NFL Network.

Beauharnais is the 11th player in Rutgers’ history to be invited to the Senior Bowl.
