Rutgers’ R.J. Dill to play in the East-West Shrine game
By Matt Sugam
R.J. Dill will be joining teammates D.C. Jefferson and Scott Vallone in the 88th East-West Shrine game.
The senior started all 12 games at right tackle for Rutgers this year after starting 30 straight games at Maryland.
The game is another chance for the 6-foot-7, 31o pounder to showcase his skills to NFL scouts, general managers and coaches.
The all-star game is played in St. Petersburg, FL at Tropicana Field on January 19 at 4:00 p.m. and will air live on the NFL Network.
Dill is the 17th player in Rutgers’ history to participate in the event.
