Rutgers’ Jawan Jamison Ready To Play, Andre Civil Ready, But May Not Play

By Matt Sugam

After saying he was “95%” yesterday and ready to contribute more this weekend at Pitt, Jawan Jamison (ankle) got a similar sentiment from his head coach after practice today.

” I think Jawan will definitely play in the game,” Flood said on a conference call with reporters. “He’ll have a bigger role than he did [at Cincinnati].”

Andre Civil on the other hand will not. Taj Alexander will start at right guard in Civil’s place for the third time this season. However, Civil will serve as the back up right guard and left tackle.

“Andre will be ready to play in the game. He’ll probably the first one in if there’s an injury and he could play in the game,” Flood said. “I just want to reevaluate him on pregame and see how he’s doing.”
