As Logan Ryan contemplates whether he should jump to the NFL or stay for his senior season at Rutgers, the cornerback has another accolade that will grab NFL teams attention. He’s now an All-American.

The redshirt junior was named a First Team All-American by Pro Football Weekly.

Ryan recored 87 tackles, four interceptions and 18 passes defended. He is the only player in the country to record at least 85 tackles, four interceptions and 18 passes defended.

He’s only the second player in Rutgers’ history to receive the honor, the other being fullback Brian Leonard, who was named an All-American in 2004, 2005 and 2006.
