Rutgers not only lost the game to No. 8 Louisville, but they also lost a starting cornerback.

On Rutgers’ first defensive series, Lew Toler was carted off the field with his left arm heavily wrapped. Toler was taken to a local hospital with a broken arm.

“He broke his arm,” head coach Kyle Flood told reporters after the game. “And Lew’s parents were here and were in the hospital with him and I don’t have more of an update than that, but that’s the situation.”
