Rutgers’ Brandon Jones ready to play in the bowl game

PISCATAWAY – While Brandon Jones (ankle) was certain he’d be able to play in the bowl game after practicing fully on Tuesday for the first time since the Louisville game, his head coach wanted to wait to make that call.

After watching Jones on tape and seeing how his ankle responded the next day, Kyle Flood was pleased.

“He looks great,” Flood said. “He was out there today with no limitations and I’m excited.”

And now, Flood shares the same sentiment as Jones.

“He’ll definitely be available for the game,” Flood said.
