Rutgers assistants candidates for Delaware head coaching vacancy

During his season wrap-up teleconference, Kyle Flood said he didn’t foresee any changes in the  coaching staff. Well, that may not be the case.

Linebackers coach David Cohen and offensive coordinator Dave Brock are candidates for the Delaware head coaching job according to Kevin Tresolini of The News Journal.

While Brock has no ties to Delaware, he is a “possible leading candidate.” Cohen on the other hand was the Blue Hens linebackers coach from 1994-1998 and defensive coordinator from 2002-2005 and referred to the Delaware head coaching position as his “dream job” when he left to be the head coach at Hofstra.

“Am I the biggest name guy?” Cohen said. “Probably not. But I might be the best fit.”
