Razohnn Gross commits to Rutgers

By Matt Sugam

Rutgers has received commitments from several preferred walk-ons, and they’ve recieved another verbal commitment from one tonight.

This time it’s from one of the country’s perennial powerhouses of high school football in Don Bosco Prep’s Razohnn Gross according to ScarletReport.com and ScarletNation.com.

“I saw Razohnn play several times over his high school career. If he had optimal size, given his technique, strength and tenacity, he would have been a major recruit,” ScarletNation.com’s recruiting analyst Matt Hladik told SNY.tv. “Even if he doesn’t play defensive line at Rutgers, he has a lot of the attributes you look for in a fullback prospect.”
Gross adds to an already solid group of preferred walk-ons.
“Rutgers has quietly scooped up some solid preferred walk-on commits this year,”  Hladik said. “And Razohnn definitely fits that bill.”
