Just when Mohamed Sanu was coming into his own, the rookie wide receiver will have his season come to an end.
Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis said today that Sanu has a stress fracture in his foot that will require surgery and it will cause him to miss the remainder of the season. The injury occurred during practice on Thursday.
The Rutgers product was beginning to come into his own in recent weeks, catching at least two passes in the past five games, including a highlight reel touchdown last week.
Sanu has 16 catches for 154 yards and four touchdowns this season.
