Mason Robinson has reunited with Greg Schiano.

The former Rutgers defensive back and punt/kick returner has signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the team announced today.

Robinson had tried out with the Jets as an undrafted free agent during rookie minicamp and mandatory minicamp.

Robinson is one of five defensive backs from Rutgers’ 2012 team on an NFL roster, joining Brandon Jones, Duron Harmon and Logan Ryan,  who are all on the Patriots, and Marcus Cooper, who was drafted by the 49ers.

Robinson joins tight end Tim Wright and linebacker Ka’Lial Glaud as the Rutgers players from the 2012 team to join Schaino in Tampa Bay. The three rookies join former Rutgers punter Andrew DePaola, defensive tackle Gary Gibson, running back Brian Leonard, wide receiver Tiquan Underwood and center Jeremy Zuttah on the Bucs roster.
