Khaseem Greene Named Big East Defensive Player Of The Week, Savon Huggins And Logan Ryan Honored

For the second straight week and third time this year, Khseem Greene has been named the Big East Defensive Player of the Week.

The Rutgers linebacker is coming off an 11 tackle, two sack performance to help lead Rugers past Cincinnati 10-3 and remain in sole possession of first place in the Big East. The reining Big East Defensive Player of the Year will likely be the conferences defensive player of the year again.

Both running back Savon Huggins and cornerback Logan Ryan made the Big East Weekly Honor Roll. Huggins had a career-high 41 carries for 179 yards. Ryan has six tackles and an interception.

Rutgers (9-1, 5-0 Big East) returns to action Saturday at noon at Pitt (4-6, 1-4 Big East).
