Kenny Britt will cooperate with police spokesman says

Even though police said Titans wide receiver Kenny Britt would not cooperate with law enforcement following a stabbing and a shooting in Jersey City early Sunday morning, Britt released a statement via his spokesman that he would speak with police.

It also turns out the the stabbing victim was not Britt’s brother like police initially said, but rather  “a close friend.”

“Kenny was leaving a dinner cooked by his friends’ parents when he found his friend, who had left earlier, injured outside,” the statement said according to the Jersey Journal.

“Kenny immediately brought his friend to the hospital and was there with the injured friend’s family for several hours, but was not otherwise involved in the incident.

“It was not a house party, Kenny’s brother was not injured (and wasn’t even there) and Kenny has made himself available to cooperate with the authorities investigation of this matter.”
