Kenny Britt “on the spot” according to Titans GM

Kenny Britt’s 2012 didn’t go so well. He injured his knee – again – during the season and got in a mix up with the law – again – after the season.

Now the former Rutgers star is entering the final year of his rookie contract, and Titans general manager Rusty Webster is expecting Britt to act more grown up.

“We expect all our guys to take care of themselves off the field and do the right things in those situations, plus on the field get themselves ready to play,” Webster said, via TitanInsider. “Kenny had a tough year just bouncing back from injuries, but I think he is on the spot to produce this year.”

So basically Britt has to perform up to expectations on the field and stay out of trouble off the field if he doesn’t want to find a new place to play in 2014.

“Plus, I think with our record, us being 6-10, everybody is kind of on the spot, so he would be in with the crowd on that one,” Webster said. “But we do expect our guys to handle ourselves quite well off the field and stay out of those situations.”
