Janarion Grant commits to Rutgers

By Matt Sugam

For the second time in two days, Rutgers has picked up a commitment.

Pasco High School’s (Dade City, FL) Janarion Grant has verbally committed to Rutgers according to ScarletReport.com and ScarletNation.com. Grant becomes the 23rd verbal commit for the class of 2013.

The wide receiver/defensive back is rated a three-star recruit by both Rivals and Scout.

“He is a different type of wide receiver than the other commits Rutgers has. He is best used in space because he can run and make people miss,”  ScarletNation.com’s recruiting analyst Matt Hladik told SNY.tv. “The return game is where he could have his biggest impact. Rutgers could use a boost in that facet and Grant has the tools to possibly provide one.”
