Rutgers’ NCAA RPI Ranking
By Matt Sugam
After going 1-1 this past week with a win at St. John’s and a loss at home to No. 21 Cincinnati, Rutgers fell one spot in the NCAA RPI Rankings, going from 56 to 57 in the second week of RPI rankings.
The RPI is ranks teams based on wins and losses and strength of schedule. It is considered a valuable barometer during the NCAA Tournament selection.
Rutgers (11-4, 2-2 Big East) returns to action on Thursday night when they host USF (9-6, 0-3 Big East) at the RAC.
