While a shooting guard at Rutgers, Quincy Douby averaged 17.8 points per game, becoming one of the most prolific scorers in school history. And his knack for scoring hasn’t stopped in his professional career.
As a member of the Zhejiang Chouzhou Golden Bulls, Douby scored 75 points on 25-of -28 shooting, including 9-of-15 from three, in a 154-129 win over the Shanxi Zhongyu Brave Dragons in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA).
The 6-foot-3, 175-pounder now holds the CBA record for most points scored in a single game, passing Andre Emmett’s previous mark of 71 points with Shandong Kingston in March of 2010.
